Adam Kozloski is a nonresident fellow in the Indo-Pacific Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security as well as in the N-7 Initiative in the Rafik Hariri Center and Middle East Programs. He previously served as an aide in the United States Senate, supporting Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committee members, including as Senator Joni Ernst’s Foreign Policy Advisor. Adam has advised on foreign policy, defense, trade, and intelligence matters and authored legislation and oversight letters covered by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Reuters, Associated Press, and other media outlets and wire services. He has authored legislation to advance the Abraham Accords, including the DEFEND Act (P.L. 117-347), MARITIME Act (P.L. 118-31), and other legislation still pending passage or introduction in the Senate. Adam also authored and led efforts to pass the bipartisan CONVENE Act (P.L. 118-31), which expands the support provided by the State Department to counter Chinese malign influence and political coercion in the Pacific Islands. During his time in the Senate, Adam traveled across Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, engaging with senior officials on pressing national security issues.
