Mark Donig

Biography

Mark Donig is a 2024 Millennium fellow and a corporate attorney in Washington, DC, whose practice focuses on emerging companies, venture capital, and commercial diplomacy, both domestically and in the Middle East. In addition, Donig has an active pro bono practice focused on defending pro-democracy dissidents and hostages under threat from state- and non-state actors in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Donig holds a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law, an MA from IDC Herzliya, and a BA in public policy from Stanford University. Donig is a two-time recipient (2017 and 2019) of the Certificate of Special Recognition from the Office of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives for his work in the Middle East and Africa.
