The N7 Initiative, in collaboration with Representative Brad Schneider (D-IL), cohosted a private roundtable in the Cannon House Office Building on June 6, 2025. The event featured remarks from former White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk, former N7 Director and Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, former National Security Council Senior Director for Gulf Affairs Kirsten Fontenrose, and N7 Research Institute Director Allison Minor. The discussion focused on progress made through the Abraham Accords and future opportunities for expansion under the current administration and in the context of evolving regional dynamics. The roundtable was attended by Representative Grace Meng (D-NY), Representative Greg Landsman (D-OH), Representative Zach Nunn (R-IA), Representative Laura Friedman (D-CA), Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Representative Wesley Bell (D-MO), and Representative Lois Frankel (D-FL), as well as staff from several other Congressional offices.
