N7 Conference: Building a New Middle East

Qasr al Sarab, United Arab Emirates

The N7 Initiative, a partnership between the Jeffrey M. Talpins Foundation and the Atlantic Council, successfully hosted the first-ever multilateral meeting between senior officials from Israel and the six Arab nations with which it has normalized relations. The landmark event, held at Qasr al Sarab in the United Arab Emirates, brought together representatives from the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, and Israel for two days of high-level discussions on advancing regional cooperation.

The conference, which was the result of six months of planning, provided a platform for participants to explore ways to broaden and deepen Arab-Israeli normalization efforts. Unlike previous bilateral agreements, this event focused on multilateral collaboration to unlock greater economic, educational, and cultural opportunities.

Discussions also centered on formalizing multilateral cooperation in the Middle East and were shortly followed by the historical Negev Summit.
