The new normal: Assessing the Abraham Accords one year on

The Atlantic Council held a public event marking the one-year anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords between Israel and regional partners.

This event included two panels featuring think tank analysts from Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and officials from across the region, as part of the Atlantic Council’s trilateral partnership with the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv and the Emirates Policy Center in Abu Dhabi.

Participants assessed the progress made since the announcement of the Abraham Accords in 2020, the implications for regional peace and security, as well as future opportunities and challenges for advancing relations between the parties and across the region.

This event featured a panel discussion with regional analysts William Wechsler, Ebtesam al-Ketbi, and Udi Dekel, as well as remarks from UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri.
